well...my last entry b4 i enter the next phase of my ns life : training in SAFTI. to most ppl it may be considered a great privilege and honour to be there, n i should be happy i'm going there n stuff, but honestly i feel terribly uninterested. yeah i know i wanna be in there, but the stories of what they do inside makes me irk. oh well...the best welfare is the toughest training!
miracles do happen sia...last year every1 talked abt the softball team disbanding n stuff if there's no 4th place finish, n how the team is pathetic n down. well...this SRC tournament changed that opinion totally. incase u dunno, the NJC softball girls team got 3rd in the tournament, beating RJC girls team (yes, i'm not kidding!) by 10-7 i think.hell...how often can a team of inexperienced players (most of them hav less den a year experience) beat a team of girls with atleast 4 years under their belt? as for the guys team, the performance wasn't outstanding for the 1st day of tournament, but hey, they lost to RJC guys team 8-3! we only lost to the defending champions by 5 runs! hell..our pitcher (he's an ip kid who trained for only 2 months as a pitcher) actually strucked out atleast 2 RJC guys! beat that! but ofcos they got 5th, but their victory (10-3) over TPJC was impressive. kudos to both the guys n girls team!
haven't been updating cos i was...lazy? n tired i guess..but here's a few things i wanna say. the class outing wasn't a success...n was quite disappointing to be honest.guess that would be the last of class outings?
anyway, jus wanna clarify a few things.some ppl may think that i'm in OCS cos i'm signing on for the navy.well, i won't deny that. budden dun forget my navy contract only works if i qualify for ocs, n it may be true that they will push me into ocs cos of me signing on, but hey, try passing the interviews n selection board first! if they r willing to offer me awards n a job, i must either look extremely good that day or my tongue was extremely sweet, n their eyes must be plastered cos somehow they saw enuf to provide me w the offer, eh?
