happy new year dudes! hope u guys had a great new year's eve and love working in the new year! (wat nonsense..haha)
how's new year's eve? hope u guys ushered in 2006 with a bang..cos the bang i got was..more like a thud. haha
alrite..the fireworks at the esplanade were honestly quite remarkable. the designs were beautiful and the colors were fascinating. i enjoyed what i saw and loved to see it again..except without the crowd. yea every1's complaning abt the blangadeshi workers and what not...and i too got a complain. i mean...they wanna celebrate the new year and they have all the reasons to do so, but kindly not at the expense of someone else? i mean..how m i to survive the next 4 hours outside if i'm all sticky and what not with foam and spray? atleast let me arm myself with extra spray cans first !! haha
but sadly, heard alot of things abt them...and my cousin who was at the esplanade too said one of his pals saw this malay dude kicking thie blangar guy on the floor..now that's why the ambulance was there...hmm.
alot of fights that nite...saw this guy run down 50m of open road to chase a car...den punch the guys in the car, lashing out at them and puched at the windows after that..wow. don't even think i can create that solid a sound with my rifle butt as he did when his fist landed on the guys inside..what a way to start the new year.
was roamin arnd clarke quay after xiangyun persuaded regina and i to go cocolatte..just to find the crowd...abit off our age. what happened b4 that..dun think u'll wanna hear n doubt i wanna say la. walked over to MOS (xiangyun can be very very very reluctant to do anything when she sets her mind to it..like reluctant to walk that extra 50m) jus to see a guy dead drunk and curled up on the floor. yuckz..and at 2am MOS was still crowded OUTSIDE..haha.that's..remarkable sia!
not only was MOS crowded...every other club/pub/outlet was packed along the river..to the extent we had to buy drinks off 7-11 and sit by the river sia. but in a way...its a refreshing and unique way to welcome the year? haha.
guess that's the...last time i'll see those girls for quite some time. with their studies and all...and with my sailings at all..not even sure when i'll get the chance to party again. sad life man...but my choice and i gotta live with it. sigh..may 2006 be year of peace (finally) and stability (finally!!) for the world, and of love and happiness which was so left wanting in 2005. haha..
