sorry for the mess up here...was too bored so decide to do a picture mosaic..guess it didn't turn out anything like i had in mind.haha.who cares rite?

the last post i put up here was....long time ago. when i was still in love with the navy. how fast things change eh? been 6 months since the day i was attached to vengeance..and my passion for the job sinks with each passing day. not that the navy sucks, cos every other vocation has the same problems. but rather, the ship isn't what i thought it is. worst still, just found out my CO doesn't have a very good impression of me.NO was saying sth abt how my reputation isn't very good and how CO view me as the lowest tier of the AOs. well, guess all these while i've been rushing and doing work, being the most honest of the AOs, and doing tasks handed down diligently isn't enough. i still have yet to develop the skill of acting busy when i'm not, and i'm suffering for that. NO said sth like he'll watch out for me cos he thinks that i'm a person who will do stuff, just that not appreciated. oh well...the true value of appreciation

Worldcup's here! once every 4 years, millions of the male population risk getting heart attacks and swollen eye bags to catch the most important sporting event there is. and ofcos, singapore pools starts earning big time. been on a losing streak so far (england....argentina...) but hey, there's still many more matches to go! this world cup promises goals (yeah...except the matches i put my beloved $ on) and promises to be an exciting tournament. the build up has been fantastic...let's jus hope the navy doesn't rob me of this tournament...

the other important thing in my life....NDP06. training has been the only highlight of my job thus far. i dread going back to ship, but love going for training. somehow marching in the parade gives me pride beyond what being onboard can give. no idea why...its like i'm willing to burn my weekends for it, but can't bear to stay a minute longer then i should onboard. i even gave Silverstone a miss...haha. training's picking up tempo now, with more runs coming up in the schedule (CDP vetting coming up next week, EXCO vetting comin up this week..) my life's starting to get interesting! just hope i get enough free tickets for my folks to watch the parade live! but dont expect this year's parade to be a BANG. i dunno...abit premature to judge but one thing's for sure, the songs suck!

oh well..back to my sad sad life...

haven't seen her for...3 days. haha. starting to miss her already...
